Heritage Celebration Decorators Break-Out Showcase, Saturday and Sunday, August 29th - 30th. Historic Old Jail, 2803 6th Street across from Capitol Park. Talented, local decorators will turn the rooms of the Old Jail into imaginative themed settings. Artists, decorators, and florists will create tablescapes that give new meaning to "setting the table!" Architectural renderings will outline the Old Jail’s history throughout the site! A Tea Room on the lawn will offer refreshments to visitors. Enjoy music in the 19th c. inspired Garden at 2pm both days!! There has not been a Decorators Showcase since 2001! **The Tuscaloosa City School Board has kindly opened the Old Jail for use of the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society Heritage Celebration.
Many talented LOCAL decorators' designs will be on display at the Decorators Break-Out Showcase this weekend! We have loved working with these creative individuals. Come get new ideas for your spaces!
