FREE! Celebrate Christmas with the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society and the Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion Foundation. Visit the Battle-Friedman House, the Old Tavern, the Murphy African American Museum, The Captiol School (the McGuire-Strickland House), and the Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion all decorated for Christmas! Light refreshments and entertainment at each historic location.
Entertainment will be provided by the T-Town Strummers, Tuscaloosa’s Barbershop Quartet, and the Victorian Carolers, along with piano and violin performances by students of the Capitol School.

Thanksgiving: Closed Thursday, November 27th. Open select hours Friday, November 28th. Closed Saturday, November 29th.
Christmas: Open Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23rd. Closed Wednesday December 24th through Saturday, December 27th.
New Years: Open Monday, December 29th and Tuesday, December 30th. Closed Wedensday, December 31st and Thursday, January 1st.
