Tuscaloosa Belles Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, March 29th, 3:00 - 5:00 pm - Battle-Friedman House.  Hosted by the Junior Tuscaloosa Belles.  Activities include the egg hunt, visits with the Easter Bunny, games and prizes, petting zoo from Tuscaloosa Barnyard, and a raffle for the adults.  $5.00 per adult; first 2 children FREE, $2.00 for every child after.

 

Heritage Celebration Sundown Lecture Series, Thursday, April 9th 5:00 - 7:00, Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center.  Dr. Robert Mellown will present "The Burning of the University" and begin the Society's 2015 Heritage Celebration. This year the celebration will focus on Reconstuction Tuscaloosa, 1865 - 1876. Society members attend FREE; $5 Non-members.  Donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.  Join us as we begin the 2015 Hertitage Celebration!

Earth Day Garden Show, Sunday, April 19th, 1:30 - 3:30 at the Battle-Friedman House and Gardens.  Admission is FREE!  Visit with local vendors, have your gardening questions answered, and play the Raffle.  This is a rain or shine event.

 

We are pleased to announce the 2015 Hertiage Celebration!  This year, we are focusing on Reconstruction Tuscaloosa (1865 - 1876.)  We are also reformatting the event to be a year-long celebration.  Additional information on the events below will be forthcoming.  Mark your calendars and make your plans to join us as we celebrate the rich history of Tuscaloosa!
