Belles Easter Egg Hunt

Each year the Tuscaloosa Belles Junior Class Project is to put on an Easter Egg Hunt on the beautiful grounds of the Battle-Friedman House.  This annual event takes place the Sunday before Easter.  Admission is charged for this event.

Belles Presentation

Each Year on Mother’s Day the Senior Class of the Tuscaloosa Belles are presented.  This is an opportunity for the Society to thank the Belles for their countless community service hours and fundraising assistance, as well as announce the Annual Scholarships.  This event is open to Century Club Members and family of the Belles.

Summer Lecture Series

On the second Thursday of June, July, and August the Society host a lecture at 5:45 PM at the Jemison Van de Graaff Mansion.  Each lecture opens with a reception with refreshments from 5:15-5:45.  These events are free for members and have an assigned cost for non-members.

Belles Heritage 5K

The last Saturday of October marks the annual date for the Society’s 5K race through the historic downtown area of Tuscaloosa.  This race is put on by the Tuscaloosa Belles Senior Class and raised money for their scholarships and for projects for the historic houses managed by the society.  There is an early bird registration and day of registration for this event, which is a Grand Prix race for the Tuscaloosa Track Club.

Annual Meeting and Awards Reception

On the third Thursday of August of each year, the society invites all its members to the attend the board meeting for the society which includes the State of the Preservation Society address by the Executive Director.  Immediately following this event we announce the societies awards in preservation excellence for the year.  This event is free for members.
